1 - A small selection of shots from a recent series of staff portraits. The intention was to avoid the frozen camera face representations that seem to typify professional mug shots, so I adopted something of a documentary style by catching people in their offices. As it turned out, the contrasty/characterful approach didn't quite work as well with female subjects, and I ended up re-shooting a bunch later on with a different venue, a more flattering lens, and heavily diffused light.
