Commercial and Business Event Documentary

Documentary event images for Fisher & Paykel and Alt Group, at Urbis Design Day.

Utilising a camera with a silent shutter and excellent low light capability enables inimate portrait captures without disruption.

I specialise in documentary style commercial photography, so this entails working towards a set of images that describe an event as it proceeds, as well as capturing strongly composed and flatteringly lit images of speakers, award presentations, and any entertainment items that may be a part of the event. I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible, so I use available light (no flash) and often work with a telephoto so as to not be a distraction to event attendees, speakers, or performers.

I can produce a number of outputs following an event, ranging from DVDs with postprocessed and ready-to-publish images, photobooks suitable for reception area viewing, online photo galleries, and individual photos for press releases, social media, and other online publications. Pricing will vary greatly depending on the nature, duration, and location of your event, so feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. I’m based in Auckland, New Zealand, so for engagements that require travel and accommodation there will be some additional costs.
