Brendon and Lucy's Wedding

Last weekend featured the wedding of my cousin Lucy and (now) cousin-in-law Brendon at the scenic Bungalow Coastal Retreat, just south of Oakura in Taranaki. The event was spread over three days, with a Friday afternoon BBQ and Service for Fallen Warriors at the historic Katikara Memorial (Fort St George Redoubt), the Wedding Ceremony (led by Rev Albie Martin) and Reception on Saturday, and a Brunch on Sunday morning.

Feel free to head along to the image gallery home for direct access to the collection.

Sunset Distractions

1 - I rushed up the local look-out point to see if I could view the factory fire raging in Ellerslie, alas, no luck! But there was a bit of a sunset, and while I'd never say the Airport and Mangere were scenic, a bit of cloud and orange-ness helps...

This weekend has featured the Tasman Revival Series, promoted by the Historic Racing Club, and hosted at Hampton Downs. It was my first chance to check out the new track, and reinvigorate my latent motorsport photography interests.

The Gathering of the Clan 2010

This year's edition of the annual Gathering of the Clan featured (among other things) a flying fox, a very fine cake, an excellent venue, and many familial visitors from as far away as Vancouver and Sydney.
